If you decide you want to use a different database, for example, we have you covered with a range of options already plumbed and ready to go, including Sql Server, Postgres, MongoDB, MySql, and EventStore. In some cases, changing your database can be as simple as changing a config file to use your database of choice.

Other examples of pre-configured functionality and integrations available natively in biild that can be changed via a simple configuration update include Storage (Disk, AWS S3, Azure Storage), Messaging (Redis, Azure Service Bus, Kafka)

Biild also has adopted a range of standards and specifications for functionality including Identity and Authorization (OpenId Connect, OAuth 2), API's (Open API), App Deployment (Open Application Model)

Biild has been developed with extensibility in mind. If you find you need to implement something new that we don’t already provide out of the box, you can customise biild with extension points which are available to hook into the various parts of the biild platform, including Developer Tooling and Code Generation, and add or extend services such as a new database, storage, or messaging system.
